shopping trip.

so yesterday i was brave and went to wal-mart for hurricane tax free shopping.
heres the list of what i could buy....tax free.

(a) any portable self-powered light source selling for $20 or less.
-I got a small battery opp. coleman camping lantern! and Maglites were included! yea..mini maglites for everyone!!!!!
(b) any portable self-powered radio, two-way radio, or weather band radio selling for $50 or less.
-I didnt get a radio. i have one already
(c) any tarpaulin or other flexible waterproof sheeting selling for $50 or less.
-nope
(d) any self-contained first-aid kit selling for $30 or less.
-i got a first aid kit for my car! a cute mini one with butterfly closures! cant wait to use it! only 96 cents!
(e) any ground anchor system or tie-down kit selling for $50 or less. - i dont have a boat to tie down.
(f) any gas or diesel fuel tank selling for $25 or less. -i passed on this one....
(g) any package of AA-cell, c-cell, d-cell, 6-volt, or 9-volt batteries, excluding automobile and boat batteries, selling for $30 or less. - this turned out to be good. cause the big batteries are $$ when you have to have size D batteries!
(h) any non-electric food storage cooler selling for $30 or less. -wal-mart has crappy coolers for the record.
(I) any portable generator used to provide light or communications or preserve food in the event of a power outage selling for $750 or less. - i was told by some one who knows....you cant get a good generator for under $750


all in all... i left wal-mart $90 poorer. but i also got sunblock! yea!
