Squirll About Town

It seems to me that my halloween excitement has been overshadowed by the elections... the uasual halloween decorations in my neighborhood are up, but they lack that extra kick when there are yard signs promoting whomever in the front yard. Its expecially scarry when its a bush sign,
but that dosent count as a halloween decoration.
... i dont feel as if theres enough comercialization of the holiday this year. The giant inflatable pumpkin down the street isent up yet, the witches flying into the trees, not there. yeah, theres bits and pieces about, but its not as good as last year. and candy! really. no one has brought any into the office! come on people.... i need snickers and crunch bars!

Just to report, there was a dead body found next door to my office this morning...

Theres nothing better than comming to work monday morning to find 3 overdosed junkies in the alley. one partically naked...
but you can sing about them - its easy and fun to make up words to songs such as these..

So while trying to find a parking space so i could get my carmel frapichino to help my addiction, i relized there were lots of women running across the streets wearing red and white, and helicopters, and police. i first thought something happened, then i realized. bush was going to be in town today. so i parked illegully and started towards the starbucks. i was greeted with some nice, tall handsome men (note...they didnt open the door for me). then i relized, they were too tall and handsome. then i notice a spiffy lapel pin on their blazers. then it clicks. Secret Service! and im sure they could see the tought process across my face. first confusion-the what the fuck is going on look, then ah-ha! realization...so then i was thinkin'.. will bushy be drinking coffee at starbucks with the regular people today. Nope. but their secret service guys did. i like them. they can hang with the regulars...but they really spooked the rest of us....including the starbucks employees...

It's a bit of a secret.
Its Wonderfull outside today! now this is a secret cause
1. the snowbirds haven't made it down yet, i think they are still getting over their thanksgiving hoilday- they will be here soon. i think they left ontario monday.
2. the buses of the bums from the northeast havent arrived here either....
3. the hurricanes scared everyone off
4. its still kinda hot over in tampa (ha ha)
its sunny and warm - but not hot - low humidity -

in the alley there is a lady yelling. she has no shoes. i think its cause her pimp stole them. "Bitch you ain't leaving Im taking your shoes!"

so theres this town called inverness. like some other small florida towns, its not much. but small. but what a great idea for a festival.
